Individual Nutrition Counseling

“What happens when I make an appointment to see the dietitian?”

“Is there a meal plan that I have to follow?”

“How often do I need to come in for follow up appointments?”

These are common questions new patients ask.

Two bowls of vegetarian rice and vegetable dishes garnished with sliced avocado, lime, and cilantro on a white table, with a glass of water with lemon and an avocado cut in half nearby, and scattered flower petals and cilantro leaves.

Instead of following a strict meal plan, I help my patients make long-term changes to improve their health based on their unique needs.

During your first visit, we will conduct a complete nutrition assessment, reviewing your medical history, nutrition history, food preferences, cooking ability, and more.

From there, we will work together to develop a plan that meets your specific needs and goals.

I aim to help my patients create long-term goals that are sustainable for their lifestyle.

For those who prefer to follow a meal plan, I offer a subscription to the Eat Love meal planning app.

The Eat Love app creates a weekly meal plan based on a nutrition prescription that I create for you. The app allows you to choose meals based on your food preferences and cooking ability. You can also track your calories in the app.

Grocery Store Tours

Go shopping with a dietitian!

The grocery store is where many of our nutrition decisions are made.

A person shopping for fresh produce at a grocery store, holding a small shopping basket with green leafy vegetables, a lemon, an avocado, and a bottled beverage, with a variety of vegetables on display in the background.

By making a few simple adjustments to your shopping list, you can experience substantial improvements in your health and overall nutrition.

I will go with you to the grocery store, and together we will look at nutrition labels, make healthy swaps, and maybe even find some new products you haven’t tried before.
